COVID-19 Policy FAQs

  • What is the current COVID-19 policy for Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, and The High Watt?
    • Effective March 28th, 2021, Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, and the High Watt will not require proof of completed COVID-19 vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test UNLESS required by the artist(s). Shows with artist requirements related to COVID-19 will be indicated on the Mercy Lounge website, Eventbrite ticket page, and Facebook event page.
    • Those shows that do have COVID-19 policy in place will require either proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination or proof a negative COVID-19 test administered in the prior 72 hours. Patrons must have a completed COVID-19 vaccination card, those that have only received one of a two-shot vaccination (Pfizer or Moderna) will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result from 72 hours or less prior to the show.
    • Some shows require a negative test result administered within 48 hours of the show instead of 72 hours; these shows will be noted as such on our website and event pages.
  • What forms of proof are accepted at Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, and The High Watt?
    • Proof of vaccination may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the patron’s valid ID. Proof of a negative test may be a printed or digital test result timestamped 72 hours or less (or 48 hours or less for certain shows) prior to the show that matches the patron’s valid ID.
  • What if you are not vaccinated?
    • Children under 12, who cannot be vaccinated, can show a negative test administered 72 hours or less (or 48 hours or less for certain shows) prior to the show for any all-ages shows.
    • People with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination can attend with proof a recent negative COVID-19 test from 72 hours or less (or 48 hours or less for certain shows) prior to the show that is both timestamped and matches the patron’s valid ID.
    • Tests must be administered by a licensed physician; at-home test results will only be accepted if the brand offers a website or app to upload your results to.
    • If you are not vaccinated, we encourage you to wear a mask even if you’ve received a negative COVID-19 test in the last 72 hours.
