Three Star Revival
Three Star Revival
Three Star Revival was founded by frontman Ben Gaines and lead guitarist Cameron Moore in 2015. Gaines' gifts as a vocalist and songwriter had already earned him a local following in Knoxville, but things really took off when he met his collaborative partner in Moore. Moore is a veritable guitar prodigy, and a Memphis native who was raised on classic Stax records, and the blues and jazz scene still vibrant in his hometown. After jamming for a few sessions on some more folky and country tunes, Gaines and Moore began to rapidly expand their musical horizons, going electric and incorporating sounds from across the Americana landscape and beyond with forays into funk, soul, r&b, and jazz. Initially playing with a rotating cast of Knoxville musicians, Gaines and Moore solidified their touring lineup with keys player Gregory Walton, bassist Tyler Reddick, and drummer Bo Kitzman. The quintet sprang forth from East Tennessee with an exhilarating live show that always keeps the listener engaged with meaningful lyrics, strong songwriting, and ridiculous improvisational jams from the talented 5 piece group. The group has been lucky enough to share lineups with the likes of Moon Taxi, Perpetual Groove, Keller Williams Backup Planet, and CBDB. Three Star Revival is rapidly growing around Tennessee and the Southeast, with a heavy touring schedule and new music on the horizon, this group has only begun to plant its roots in the musical landscape with additions to festivals like Rhythm and Blooms last year and Bonnaroo this year, TSR is just beginning its journey
Hedonistas is a five-piece funk/pop/rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. In 2018, they released their debut record, The Way Things Were, highlighted by Vulfpeck's Cory Wong sitting in on their hit song “On the Run.” Their energetic performances have propelled them to several sold out shows in Georgia, as well as spots on music festivals around the southeast.
Emma Hern
Emma Hern
Nashville-via-Boston-via-Richmond belter Emma Hern is taking her Nashville-
approved blend of Americana, soul, pop, and a touch of glam wide with her self-
titled debut EP. Taking cues from legends like Aretha and Bonnie Raitt and
placing them in the age of Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift, Emma Hern is
bridging the time gap with her retro rock-soul sound and on-stage electricity.
After graduating from Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, Emma
moved to Nashville looking to expand her musicality. Her first months were spent
absorbing all that Music City has to offer and bringing life to her creative
vision. She wasted no time integrating herself into the local music scene. Within
the first year, Emma played a long list of prestigious Nashville venues and
showcases, capping it off with a slot at Pilgrimage Music Festival, which Rolling
Stone named The “Festival to Watch.”
