Ivory Layne
Ivory Layne
Ivory Layne may be young, but her music is that of an old soul. Layne started
songwriting at age six but didn't take serious interest until turning fourteen. She taught
herself music production, working from her bedroom and posting demos online. In 2011,
her work caught the attention of Grammy award-winning producer, Ed Cash. The two
wrote, produced, and released her first EP, Volume One, in 2013. Shortly after, Layne
moved from her hometown of Denver, NC, to Nashville, TN, to further her artist career.
With her prolific lyrics and distinct musicality, Layne was quickly signed to a publishing
deal with LBK Entertainment, writing with top names in Nashville such as Jimmy
Robbins, Shane McAnally, and Lori McKenna. Her sharpness in the writer's room landed
her two global ad campaigns featuring her second EP's title track, “Something's Gonna
Happen” (2014), and gave her opportunities to collaborate with artists such as Andrew
McMahon In The Wilderness (Zombies On Broadway). Between her own work and co- writes, Layne also found time for session singing on various projects such as
Needtobreathe's single, "Brother." Her well-rounded skill-sets attracted the attention of
superstar, Justin Timberlake, who signed Layne to his artist development company,
Villa40, in 2015. Since signing, Layne has been hard at work crafting her next project in
the studio and writer’s room. Her music has flavors of her influences--Peter Gabriel,
Annie Lennox, Coldplay, and Imogen Heap, while also taking on a life of its own, an
authenticity unique to Layne. Layne travelled to London last fall to work on new music to
be released later this year.

Gabi’s creative melodies and heart behind every lyric make you want to dance, dream bigger and take each day as simple as it comes. Her quirky and yet relatable approach to Christian music dares you to see God in the oddest places.

At 17 Gabi released her first EP. Soon after, she was drawn to travel the world and do missions work with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) for two years. Through her adventures and challenges, her soul is well stocked with stories to be told.

Currently Gabi is living in Nashville, TN. She was drawn there in 2010 to cultivate her musical career and to pursue her passion to work along side Abolition International, Natalie Grant’s non-profit organization. For the past two years Gabi has been writing and converting her adventures into poetic songs and melodies.

Gabi has opened for top Christian artists such as Britt Nicole and Audrey Assad. She has also led worship alongside Phil Stacey, Tenth Avenue North and Phillip LaRue. "Lost Dreams", a signature song from her first EP, was included in two compilation albums; IJM Freedom Project (International Justice Mission) as well as The MORE Project. Both albums were produced to bring about awareness of the impoverished and fight against Human Trafficking.

In the summer of 2012, Gabi’s self-titled EP will be released. Producers Gabe Scott and Phillip LaRue were drawn to Gabi by her enticing vocals and unique approach to create music that overflows with hope. Scott and LaRue have collaborated with Gabi on this project to help cultivate an exciting work of art that she can’t wait to share.
