Youth Empowerment through Arts & Humanities, Inc. (YEAH!) exists to provide opportunities in the arts to students ages 10-17. YEAH! produces and directs a plethora of influential programs which give students multiple ways to find their place within YEAH!.

YEAH! offers a year round, co-educational program known as Rock Block, wherein elementary school, middle school and high school kids are invited to form bands, learn to play instruments and perform in an end of session showcase performance that is open to the public, their families and friends.

In following with our mission, YEAH! has taken our programs into the Murfreesboro City Schools in order to better serve our students. Rock Block and theatre classes are being offered to the students of the City Schools' ESP initiative.

During the summer months, YEAH! provides a wide-range of music camps. Southern Girls Rock and Roll Camp is a day camp which brings over 90 girls from all over the country to Murfreesboro. This camp has been held every summer for the last 12 years. Tennessee Teens Rock Camp, with locations in Nashville and Murfreesboro, is a co-educational day camp. YEAH! is proud to also offer opportunities outside of Tennessee. All of these camps give students the opportunity to form bands, learn to play instruments, attend music and other artistic workshops, and then perform as bands during a showcase at the end of camp that is open to the public, their families and their friends.

The staff, board members, and volunteers of YEAH! believe that arts and humanities empower young people, and that empowered young people will grow and mature into proactive, effective community leaders.
