Jacob Thomas Jr.
Jacob Thomas Jr.
Born and raised in Southern Lousiana, one listen and Jacob Thomas Jr. would have you figuring he spent his youth performing in cowboy bars and trucker dives. You'd only be half right. While Saturday nights were spent cavorting with sinners, Sunday mornings would find him, albeit hungover at times, entertaining saints.
Outfitted with only his acoustic guitar and his voice, Original Sin, Thomas' debut LP, is a collection of experiences. With the majority of songs being first takes, the lack of production invites the listener to pay close attention to what's being said, the stories being told, and the heartbreak being felt or dealt. Jacob never pretends to be the good guy, and his honesty, which can be unsettling at times, is ultimately revealing.
Zach Torres
Zach Torres
Brought up on the music of 70's balladeers and deeply inspired by American roots music, Zach Torres writes, sings, and plays from an old soul. Born and raised in Houston, TX but currently in Nashville playing locally and working looking toward the next record.
Peyton Parker
Peyton Parker
As a teenager, Georgia native Peyton Parker fell in love with Nashville and its vibrant music scene - so much so she convinced her family to move there to pursue her musical path. Since making the move in 2013, the country singer-songwriter has immersed herself in the music community and is beginning to make a name for herself on both the local and national stage. Grammy award-winning producer/publisher Charlie Peacock calls Peyton “richly talented, intuitive, hard-working” with an “undeniably unique vocal sound”. Peyton has appeared in concert with Walker Hayes, Jana Kramer, Parmalee and David Nail. In addition to winning Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Social Club Open Mic Songwriter Showdown and making the finals of the Nashville Rising Star Singer Songwriter contest, Peyton was selected as Nashville radio station Lightning 100’s Artist of the Week. Most recently Peyton was a contestant on NBC’s hit show, “The Voice”, where she earned a three chair turn and a spot on Team Blake. Her blind audition video of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” has nearly three million views on YouTube. Peyton is currently writing, performing and preparing for the release of her debut album in Spring 2017.
Devon Gilfillian
Devon Gilfillian
Devon Gilfillian fires twin barrels of gospel-blues and southern soul on his debut EP. Fueled by groove, guitar, and the powerful punch of Gilfillian's voice, the songs shine a light on a young songwriter who grew up outside of Philadelphia, absorbing everything from the R&B swagger of Al Green and Ray Charles to the rock & roll heroics of Jimi Hendrix. Now based in Nashville, Gilfillian puts a personalized stamp on those childhood influences, rolling them into five original songs that showcase not only his songwriting and singing, but also his talent as an instrumentalist.

Raised by a musical family, Gilfillian grew up singing. He took up the electric guitar at 14 years old, kickstarting a fascination with classic rock and other sounds from an older generation. By the time college rolled around, Gilfillian was playing three-hour shows in a local cover band, performing songs by the Meters one minute and the Beatles the next. The gigs allowed him to explore the full range of his influences, but Gilfillian wanted to play his own music, too. With that in mind, he moved to Nashville, eager to chase down his own muse.

Released in May 2016, the self-titled Devon Gilfillian finds him stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. He recorded the songs with a small group of friends and collaborators, tapping drummer Jonathan Smalt and slide guitarist Jesse Thompson as co-producers. Equal parts swampy, funky, and enthralling, the record finds Gilfillian planting one foot in the classic sound of his influences, with the other foot pointing somewhere new and uncharted. After all, he's no revivalist. No nostalgia act. No retro wannabe. Instead, Gilfillian is a classic artist for the modern age, discovering new life in soulful sounds that have been making people dance for decades.
