Cory Taylor Cox
Cory Taylor Cox
We all have collections. Yours could be baseball cards, or beanie babies, tattoos, or bad habits. Cory Taylor Cox collects memories and shows them off through his music, influenced by time spent in cities with a soulful history like Muscle Shoals and Memphis. Encouraged by time spent on the road, from singing in all-state youth choir to touring with pop-punk and Americana bands, Cory holds on to memories of vinyl records, Pink Floyd and the Eagles, stashed away in the top of his father’s closet. The quaintness of every coffee shop that exchanged craft-caffeine for acoustic serenades, every hardcore metal band that let him open an all-ages show with emo songs, or folk songs, or whatever, to every PBR-soaked, party-rock, electric guitar cat-call, these are the collections of Cory Taylor Cox.
Mike Cap
Mike Cap
Mike Cap is a Nashville-based musician and artist. Born and raised in New Jersey, Mike was naturally drawn to the piano in his parents' living room. He studied music through high school and went on to attend the Berklee College of Music. He has worked with many bands and solo artists as a co-writer, instrumentalist (piano + guitar), and singer. He is now focusing on the release of his upcoming EP, We All Feel The Same, and also performing with the Beatles tribute band, Forever Abbey Road...

...Mike's music draws inspiration from classic acts like The Beatles, Queen, and Billy Joel, and adds a bit of 90s flare to it with influences from Nirvana, Ben Folds Five, and Green Day.

Us and the Ship
Us and the Ship
Throughout their teenage years, the members of Us and the Ship were plugging away at their musical projects. Every one of them. They all practiced, promoted, and committed themselves to the process of collaboration early. That discipline has really paid off the past three years. As musicians, they have taken what they learned in adolescence, focused on the finely tuned line-up that could accomplish the task, and gone to work on their debut recording, all while maintaining relationships and day jobs. This kind of motivation out of five early twenty-somethings is no small achievement in itself. The fact that they are making waves with their powerful live performances regionally only adds to the interest. The music that Us and the Ship plays has many seemingly opposing dynamics. The commanding Keith Tubbs helms this strange alchemy, soaring with emotional, testimonial vocals backed by the down-tempo explorations of his bandmates. Steeped in a strange combination of Southern- and alternative rock-influenced guitar work, along with a heavy-hitting rhythm section, the band is charming audiences with their enthusiastic spirit and contagious energy.
