Kree Harrison
Kree Harrison
The highly anticipated debut single from Kree Harrison is finally here. “This Old Thing” is the title track to Kree’s live, studio album recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC. “This Old Thing” embodies the timeless sound that Kree has spent her entire life working toward. Although timeless, This Old Thing is modern and was recently described as “fresh, now and tomorrow” by CMT’s Stacey Cato.

Although only 25, the sharp lyrics and deep emotional expressions make the listener feel like she is a seasoned veteran. That’s because she has been doing this her entire life. At the ripe age of 3, she belted out Amy Grant’s “El-Shaddai” at her local church in Woodville, TX. Kree signed an artist development deal with Lyric Street Records at 10 and moved to Nashville shortly after. While looking for songs to record, she declared that she wanted to record “He Called Me Baby” by Harlan Howard. That dream was fulfilled 15 years later in North Carolina when she finally recorded that song she was drawn to so many years before.

Many know Kree from American Idol Season 12 where she finished runner-up in 2013. American Idol did an amazing job of highlighting her vocal talent, but the show only scratched the surface of Kree’s artistry. In early 2015, Kree signed with Nashville’s independent Plaid Flag Music and began writing with her album in mind. She ended up co-penning 9 of the 13 songs on the album, stretching from before Idol to her time with Plaid Flag in 2015.

Many times Kree has said, “This record has been 15 years in the making.” There are numerous examples from songs written or inspired during her childhood that illustrate this fact. As cliché as it may sound, this album has truly been a product of the last 15 years of Kree’s life. The significance of This Old Thing as the album title, title track, first track on the album sequence and first song released is not an accident. This has been a life-long dream of Kree’s, but it’s been worth the wait.

Matt Koziol
Matt Koziol
Matt Koziol, age 22, is no stranger to the sounds of what most consider "the golden years of music." Born in Linden, New Jersey, he grew up listening to the world around him. Every sound that came out of the radio or tape deck flavored his music. Elvis was one of his largest influences growing up. "I really didn't know who he was until I was older, but I knew his name, and his music. At the age of 3, I knew what I wanted to do with my life."

Ten years later Matt picked up a guitar and began listening to classic rock (Led Zeppelin, Cream, Aerosmith, etc.) His musical experience was in motion. He studied all the great guitar players and singers trying to find what made them tick. "It was amazing to me to see the state of complete solitude these musicians went into while playing. It was like they were in a different world, and I wanted to see what that world was like!" The summer before his freshman year of high school Matt started writing his own music. Inspired by the many years of listening to James Taylor (his father's favorite artist), Matt began to work on his craft of song writing. During his high school years he was involved in local theatre groups, and worked on his vocal training singing classical music in the New Jersey All-State Choir.

"I knew at some point that I was a fairly decent guitar player, and I could sing, however I never knew how to put it all together until I heard John Mayer on the radio. His style really set me back and it was then that I realized what I'd been looking for! So I took what I learned from him and from the music made in the many years before him. Guys like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, all these great guys who played for that 'moment' and that's what put me over the edge, pushing me further into my career of being a musician. At 14 my music teacher urged me to do an open mic night at a local coffee shop. I haven't stopped performing since Those 10 minutes of pressure lit a fire in me."

A few short years later Matt has just released his second EP "Grace Matters." "This CD is a taste of what is to come. I wanted to bring the 'moment' back into the hearts of listeners. I want people have a chill run down their arm at the end of a CD like I had when I listened to Billy Joel's "Storm Front" the first time. That 'moment hasn't been around for a long time and its time for a second lap." He has performed in places all over the Tri- State Area, including the famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and Sullivan Hall in New York City, NY. Matt is currently touring locally in an effort to spread his unique musical styling to as many listeners as possible. You can check out samples of his album "Grace Matters" on iTunes

Unique. Powerful. Natural. These are just a few words that describe the classic allure and undeniable artistry of Justyna Kelley. An experienced performer and true songwriter’s songwriter, Justyna captures attention with her stunning voice and presence and with her heart-felt, self-penned songs.

Born and raised in Nashville as the daughter of Irene Kelley, one of Music City’s finest singer-songwriters, Justyna has been singing since before she could talk and writing songs and stories ever since she learned to put pen to paper. Her formative years were spent on and off the road performing with her mother and also as a young actress appearing in numerous films, music videos and TV commercials.

A singer by birth and a performer by trade, Justyna studied Theatre, English and French at the University of the South and graduated Summa Cum Laude. During these years, and between studies, she began splitting her time between Nashville, Los Angeles and New York to carve out her own career as an actress and recording artist.

In 2009, during a closing shift at the New York dance studio where she was working, Charles Koppelman overheard Justyna singing to herself and was impressed enough to sign her to her first development and publishing deal. In 2013, after completing a full-length record in LA, she signed with 13 Bis Records (Warner France) and moved to Paris. For the next three years, she toured across the European continent, opening for artists such as David Hallyday, Jackson Browne and Emmylou Harris and began writing and composing on-command projects for Universal Production Publishing Music. She also booked leading roles in many French films and TV shows and became fluent in both French and Italian.

In 2016, Justyna returned home to Nashville to focus on her songwriting and artist career and to collaborate with production partner, Eddie Gore. Together, they create music for film, TV and major label projects, as well as her own artist material, at Historic RCA Studios on Music Row.

In addition to music, Justyna continues to work as a film and voice-over actress taking auditions in Nashville, Los Angeles and Paris.

Larissia Murphy
Larissia Murphy
The daughter of a coal miner turned preacher, Larissia Murphy was born and raised in the rolling mountains of eastern Kentucky. Singing came naturally to her as a young child as she was captivated by the classic country sounds she found on her parents’ turntable.

As a teenager, she was turned on to the off-the-beaten-path country troubadours as well as the golden 70’s sounds of Laurel Canyon. Looking to classic artists such as Joni Mitchell, John Prine, The Beatles, Laura Nyro and Emmylou Harris, Larissia found herself writing her own songs.

Not content to spend her days in the isolated, yet nurturing, hollers of Kentucky, she was eager to leave at her earliest opportunity. Now residing in Nashville, she has continued to passionately develop her voice and songs. Though her musical style is an amalgamation of classic country, 60’s folk and early 70’s pop, Larissia believes “at the end of the day, it’s all about the song. That’s all there is.”

With a voice that evokes the haunting lonesomeness of the Kentucky hills and the breeziness of her Laurel Canyon dreams, it is impossible not to feel her honesty and heart in every word. Her voice is powerful and expansive, fragile and clear.

The raven-haired singer/ songwriter’s live performance is also a captivating one-of-a-kind. Mysterious and dynamic. At one moment she is beautifully austere, then suddenly magnetic and vivacious; inviting all who listen to come live in the song with her.

A good song can inspire you to dream bigger and live fuller. By distilling personal experiences and tribulations into her words and music, she delivers honest and thought-provoking messages. Larissia Murphy reminds us that life promises us hardships and heartache, but love can still be found in all of the broken places.

...And when she sings it, you know she’s lived it.
