Staying For The Weekend
Staying For The Weekend
Staying For The Weekend is a rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The five members met while in college and have released two EPs in the past twelve months, Camp Empathy (December 2012), SFTW (November 2013). They are also set to release a series of 6 brand new singles throughout the summer of 2014. Among the bands live highlights in 2013 was an appearance at Bonnaroo, and Staying for the weekend also started 2014 off right with a press-event at MSR studios put on by KEF speakers. During the event SFTW got to work with legendary producer Ken Scott( Abbey Road, Ziggy Stardust), and grammy winning engineer Derek Lee.

With hook-laden songs that are simultaneously edgy and unpredictable, Staying For the Weekend is poised for a breakout year in 2014. Their high-energy live shows have helped SFTW build a committed and growing fan base in the Nashville area, and is sure to help them expand their reach across the region.

Rock Eupora
Clayton Waller, the Mississippi music artist known as Rock Eupora, started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He quickly discovered his love for songwriting and performing and took advantage of nearly every opportunity to play music. In college, he helped form a rock-n-roll power trio called Wolf Cove. Wolf Cove started dissolving as graduation approached, and Waller began writing solo. These songs eventually became Rock Eupora and took form as the first album, Blanks.
While in grad school in Nashville, TN, Waller wrote and recorded Rock Eupora's second full-length album in his apartment-converted basement. In Soon The Sun Will Come, Waller uses galactic hooks and melodies and a unique blend of gritty rock and shimmering pop to address the power of time, the reality of love, and the importance of faith as he experiences a transitional stage of life.
