Live from Chromeo's House Afterparty
featuring the songs of Hall & Oates & starring How I Became the Bomb, Rio, Wild Cub
ABOUT LFCH:
Live from Chromeo's House is the ONLY Chromeo afterparty that features the songs of Hall and Oates and star How I Became the Bomb, Rio & WIld Cub - as well as some very special guests!
Celebrate the greatest night in Nashville music history - which, of course, will be Thursday, August 26th, 2010: The night when Dave One & Pee Thug, the giants among men that some of us know as Chromeo, performed live in our fair city - by attending LFCH: The only afterparty befitting such a momentous occasion.
At LFCH, You will hear the sweet and perfect melodies that only Daryl Hall and John Oates could have created performed live on stage by the international phenom of a band, How I Became the Bomb. HIBTB is known the world over not only because of their live performance on the Mir Space Station, but also because of their amazing instrumental prowess. Jon Burr and the boys have traveled the world and can play rock, country AND originals but, they still remained grounded in great music and will perform this set of seminal Hall & Oates masterpieces both before and after the Chromeo show in the Cannery. You never know who will join them on stage…
Also at LFCH, witness the near-supernatural DJ skills of the tandem known to most at Rio & Wild Cub. The term, DJ, is hardly sufficient in describing what these two artists have achieved in the years on the circuit. Both critics and admirers of the pair can always agree that their firebrand tactics on the one's and two's and aggressive-yet-sexual stage antics always make an impact on the audience. Rio first came into the public eye when we won first-place in the DMC Spinoff competition at the age of 8, becoming the youngest-ever winner. Wild Cub's stardom came out of the world of dance, where he conquered both the B-Boy Breakdance Contest at the age of 12 and the International Stomp Dance Awards the following year. Wild Cub translated his love of rhythm into a love of dance music - and it always shows when you see him and Rio live!
LFCH is a night not to be missed. Look for invites inside of the Cannery during the Chromeo show. If you can't find one, pay the $5 - you will be amazed by what you hear (and see)!
