Seth-Aid 2010
featuring the Pink Spiders, Non-Commissioned Officers, Shoot The Mountain, and Armed Forces
Local musician, director and journalist (Powerbrrrd, Nashville Scene, Casio Casanova... that guy) Seth Graves needs some help with some old legal fees or else he might go to jail. No lie.
Some friends have gotten together to make sure that doesn't happen. Whether you want to help or just enjoy an awesome show, you are encouraged to come:
The Return of THE PINK SPIDERS:
That's right. Our very own Behind the Music contenders, The Pink Spiders have assembled their original lineup. Matt Friction, Jon Decious, and Bob Ferrari are playing a Nashville stage together for the first time in over two years. Whether they were your favorite band 3 years ago, or you think the new shit sucks, they'll be playing a little something for everyone, I'm sure.
THE NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
Yeah, it's the band from MAKEOUT WITH VIOLENCE. they're awesome. They're going to play too. Get all dancey with some new wavey hyper pop. They played Bonnaroo. That makes them famous.
THE ARMED FORCES
Oh no! Brandon Jazz?! What's he gonna do this time? You don't even know! and that's part of the excitement. I might just get really angry and kick him off stage, or maybe he'll reunite with the Westboro Baptist Church or invite his pals from the Church of Scientology. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW.
SHOOT THE MOUNTAIN
These guys are playing too. They're awesome. They play catchy, straightforward indie rock shit that inspires seismic wiggles in your rump. I think they really tie this bill together in a feng shui kind of way.
