ABOUT QUEENS BOULEVARD:
Queens Boulevard is a road not many can say they have had the chance to walk down. Yet the four musicians who have built their homes at the end of this road can truly tell you the results of their journey have been astronomical. Hailing from across the U.S., Dustin Squire (Lead guitars and vocals) Dennis McGrath (Rhythm guitars and vocals) Ben Nelson (Bass) and Rev. Davis (Drums) come together to form one of Nashville’s greatest alt-rock bands.
Storming the underground scene in late 2009 they have practiced an intense tour schedule in and around the city. The group has developed an impressive following as well as a relationship with their fans. When asked how, they simply answer: “It’s easy to do when you love making music and have as much fun as we do playing it.” Though the band has gone through several transitions since their start one thing has remained constant: The ability to entertain.
When Queens Boulevard hits the stage it’s easy to see that their talent and passion has definitely affected their local following. You can’t help but move and sing along to the music that they generate. With influences ranging from the Beatles and Zappa to more contemporary artists such as the Deftones, Brand New and Minus the Bear, Queens Boulevard have developed an incredibly energetic and exciting sound.
After releasing a four track EP in early 2010 entitled “Red Light Affair”, which includes a mix of some of their earlier and latest releases, the band has decided to not only include Nashville in their recent string of shows but also branch outside of the city. With tour dates across the east coast, Queens Boulevard has lit the fuse that will only end in an explosion of epic proportions. Queens Boulevard invites you to take a walk with them down a road only few have traveled. Though its streets may not be lined with gold, the company that you will keep will most certainly not disappoint.
