Five Finger Death Punch Afterparty

with Piranah and 3 Minutes To Live

Head upstairs to the Mercy Lounge after the Five Finger Death Punch show to keep on partying with two of Nashville's best metal bands!

About Piranah:

Piranah hails from Nashville, TN. Thinking country? Not with these guys. Piranah is a blue collar, no frills, in your face metal band. The group was founded by guitarist Matt Seckinger and with the addition of vocalist Darren Andrews, Thorin Milliken on bass & vocals, and Chris Higgins on drums & percussion, Piranah is a force to be reckoned with. Piranah was nominated for best metal band in 2007 and 2008 at Nashville’s FM rock station 102.9 The Buzz (WBUZ). They were the 12th most requested band in 2008 out of over 400 bands in the Middle Tennessee area. The guys followed that up in July of 2009 by being crowned 102.9 Buzz battle champs for three months in a row and gaining entry into the Local Buzz Hall of Fame. Placing an impressive 17th out of 13,179 artists in the Toyota Music Rock This Space competition on Myspace proves Piranah continues to gain recognition as well as dedicated fans with every show and each spin their new album receives. With their fourth self-titled release (produced by Voytek Kochanek) ready to drop in stores in early 2010 and with 3 albums already to their credit plus an increasing concert schedule covering the Southeast/Midwest along with rave reviews from heavy hitters like Dave Ellefson (F5/Megadeth) and hard rock/metal personality Metal Sanaz, get ready for this band to break wide open!

About 3 Minutes to Live:

Just think about what you would care about if you found out you only had 3 minutes to live. Would you care about keeping up with the Jones's? Would you care about if you were wearing the hottest styles this year? Would you care about your popularity status? Your fancy car? Your big screen TV? No you probably would be thinking about the things that really matter in life; Family, friends and what kind of life you have lived up to this point. That is what drives "3 Minutes to live" life is short and nothing goes unnoticed. After forming in 2004 the band went through a growing period and gained in popularity to the extent of being nominated in the "Best metal band" category in 2005 by 102.9 the BUZZ they then began recording their debut album and by 2006 was almost ready to release it. Then things got complicated and the band had to take a long hiatus to take care of family business. They returned in 2009 consumed with a burning fire and released their debut album "Ultimatum" which has gained favorable reviews throughout the Nashville music community and abroad. Mixing metal and rock with a taste of southern style and a few modern influences topped off with an unrelenting ferocity and sense of urgency it is difficult to classify their sound and yet they never fail to surprise and entertain with catchy choruses and grooves that almost take on a life of their own. Active within the community to lend a helping hand and raise awareness for organizations and causes "3 Minutes to live" knows that there are things bigger and more important than fame and fortune. Holding to a "come as you are" attitude "3 Minutes to live" is pure energy and no image, they are who they are and thats it. Catch them while you can, because time is fleeting and you never know when you might find yourself with only 3 minutes to live.
